The Canadian Amputee Hockey Committee was established in 2001 for the
purpose of promoting ice hockey for all amputees regardless of age,
gender, race or physical ability.
Since its inception, the team iced by the Committee has proven to be a
force to be reckoned with…undefeated in international competition, and
the winners of 6 consecutive ISIHF World Championships.
The most recent win for Team Canada
on the international stage was in May of 2012 at the ISIHF World
Championships in Tampere, Finland. The team finished the tournament
undefeated, and once again claimed the gold medal. For all the

The Canadian Amputee Hockey Team is a remarkable group of proud Canadians, determined to show the world that hockey is our game, regardless of its form.
